Sirs, would like to know where I can get a dmd chip replacement locally. And estimate cost of dmd chip. Problem: White dots can be seen. Thanks inadvance.

I had mine replaced by American Technology, InFocus' local distributor. They sourced part from Singapore. Repair cost me 35T. I suggest you just buy a new one. Mine was not worth it.

We encountered white spots in the Optoma DLP projector this morning, and more spots came out later. Based on google, these are caused by defective DMD chips. Plan to inquire from local service center what to do. I wonder how much DMD chip replacement would cost.

Anyone who had same problem on white spots caused by DMD chip?

you can check the model of your chip and get it from ebay. there was a thread here na nag diy siya ng replacement ng chip. i think it's in the Acer 5360 na thread.
