Product Description

The Xavian Bonbonus is a exquisite monitor style speaker at a truly affordable price. Not often will you find custom driver in a speaker at this price point, plus having real wood veneer cabinet! The Driver is a 132 mm exclusive custom made , impregnated paper membrane, 40 mm aluminium voice coil on kapton former, non resonant twin-wave rubber surround, die-cast basket made in Italy. The tweeter is 26 mm exclusive custom made with a impregnated fabric soft dome, with high power handling.

The Cabinet is hand made, with panels of 16 mm MDF, magnetically suspended front grills, and comes with real wood veneer. The Xavian Bonbonus is front ported with the ports made of aluminium. Being front ported you will be able to position the speaker closer to the wall behind it. The bass response will be more accurate that a lot of designs at this price point that have a large port in the rear. All this does is give a boomy impression of bass that has no accuracy. So when you see the frequency response of the Bonbonus it is a true statement of what the speaker can reproduce and not exaggerated claims that is all to common at this price point.

You will not find a better sounding speaker that is European made at this price point.

Slim on-wall speaker coming from the Bonbonus model. Perfect choice when you cannot use classically shaped speakers.

Thanks to its ideal size you may install it in both vertical or horizontal position. When horizontally installed, you get a nice and elegant centre speaker for home cinemas. When vertically mounted, you get slim on-wall front channels.
