Topic: Matching Speakers for Marantz 7008

Guys good day. I know in the end I would need to audition, but as initial reference on what I would audition I would just like to ask which speakers do you think would match better with my new Marantz 7008?

Planning to change my fronts and center this Christmas. Budget is around 80k to 100k should be floor standers. Usage is 70% movies and 30% listening to flac files.

Your inputs would be greatly appreciated...

Based from my experience Goldenear Speakers would really match well with Marantz...
I had the SR-7008 and Goldenear Triton 2 before and they are heavenly...
For your budget try auditioning these...

- Goldenear Triton 7 and Supercenter X
- B&W 684 s2 and HTM61
- Polk Audio RTi A9 and A6
- PSB Image T6 and Image C5
- KEF R500 and R200c

But I highly recommend the Triton 7 and SCX

Thanks Sir Louie, im coming from RTIA9 abd CSI6 setup so thats 1 pair that is scratched from the audition list.

I have seen and heard the new B&W s2 along with HTM 61 setup and it was very good for me, specially for music.

Will try to audition golden ear triton 7 set first. Pero mas gusto ko sana yung triton tower 2 mo dati pero di yun kaya ng powers ko pa hehe 

Then maybe the PSB set up after, I dont know much bout Kef but will research also this brand sir.

Thank you for the help sir DTNS, will take a look also at this setup. If I am not mistaken sir the Aon is bookshelf right? mas prefer ko sana talaga tower kasi coming from RTIa9 and CSI6 setup baka manibago ako hehehe.

kahit anong decent speaker sir halos match jan sa marantz mo..... one thing i found out sa pag audition ko  eh mas maganda tumunog yung mga speakers na ang concentration before eh stereo lang at late na nag venture sa home theater....yung bass naman will always be delivered by SVS.

Try mo din monitor audio sir, they match well with marantz reciever.

Try mo din sir DALI Zensor models,

Zensor 5 or Zensor 7.

I owned Zensor 3 and paired with Marantz Reciever, masaya na ako dito pero mas ok kung Integrated amp na Marantz ang gamitin.
