I need help from the audio GURU's out there, plan kasi namin mag upgrade from a HTIB to something better budget namin is 30k for 2 floorstanders 1 center 2 bookshelf and a receiver no subwoofer. So far ang pinag pipilian ko is:

Pioneer 523 - 13k + Pure AcousticSupernova 8 - 16k or
Pioneer 524 + Wharfedale diamond 10.3 + diamond 10sr + diamond 10cc for 31k or mas ok 10.4 then add nalang ako ng 2k?

Then pag maka ipon plan ko kumuha ng pilyo sub mga 10k budget. Sa opinion nyo guys ano mas ok sa dalawa for sala set up in a condo. Thanks

- instead of floorstander, mag bookshelf ka then yung natipid mo ibili mo ng sub. wag mong iwanan ang isa sa pinakaimportanteng part ng system. galing ka kamo sa htib, so why left the sub behind?
- no offense sa mga wharf owners but wag mo na kunin yun dahil for sure mag upgrade ka lang.
- the best kung pasyal ka sa mga audio shops. nandyan ang sales talk pero bukod sa first hand experience/info may tips pa. actually, bihira na ang sales talk sa mga reputable shops unlike sa raon.
- abang abang sa marketplace.

a week or two? dikit yan ah. why not tsabay tsabayin mo na para isang lakad, isang setup/calibration.

yung 2 weeks na yan magagamit mo sa pag audition. by the time matapos ka ng audition, buo mo na ang budget. praktikal? praktikal. hehe...

pm mo na yung mga shops mentioned ni @courage para pagpunta mo maprepare nila at alam mo rin ang tatargetin mo base sa budget at ihanda mo na rin ang sarili sa adjustment.

mas maganda kun bilhin package ang speakers + sub para mapakinggan mo as a system sa store at baka makahingi ka pa ng magandang price rate (discount). Lalo na kun bibilhin mo na that same day, kasi it's a good points yan sa salesman sa account nya.

Still thinking about the Pureacoustic Supernova 8 16k kasi sa sns for the complete set w/out subs. Pero the brand is not well known baka mamaya panget yung sound. Ito siya http://www.pure-acoustics.com/design/v4/speaker.php?id=102 and hindi ko siya ma audition kasi wala daw demo unit sa shop.

Nako sir max nayan haha siguro mapipiga ng pa ng 3-5k pero wala nang itataas haha at buti nalang wala akong CC.

ask sns again at sabihin mo need mo muna mapakinggan at maikumpara man lang sa first choice mo na wharfs then sabihin mo pag nagustuhan mo at kunin magbibigay ka na lang ng + feedback at review sa pdvd. baka pumayag. gandang pang sala nito. fogee!

It's a big difference & improvement from your old system....

When I setup my first HT system, I started from Denon receiver & floorstander speaker but when I had chance to try separates I never looked back...

Yes, it's worth taking A-Audio into consideration. There's a Dec promo ongoing. I did an audition  on the Titus Gold BS & it sounded as good as if not better than some of the branded speakers I supposed to buy hence I bought a pair.

As for price it's bang for the buck. Try PM Anthony for the FS speakers.

Mukhang di pasok sa budget ko yung a-audio. iniisip ko mag wharfe 155, 101c or diamond 10cs + 10sr. Then yamaha v377 for 17k + us audio or jamo sub or yamaha 375 sa marketplace + a better sub.

Any other tips guys for a 45k budget.

Bro ganito gamit ng bayaw ko pair with onkyo 809 and Pioneer 1121 ok naman sya para sakin deep ang bass at hinde nakakapagod sa tenga pero depende parin sympre sa gagamit..

Oo nga e lapit na maging 50k, sa pasko ko pa malalaman sana konti lang ang gastusin sa handa at "mga" inuman haha. Regarding sa supernova speakers baka bang for the buck pala ito pero naka tatak parin sa isip ko yung "if its too good to be true" na kasabihan kaya sana pwede i demo.

Yung pilyo sub hindi ba masyado bulky? And hindi kaya siya overpowered sa plan ko na set? Habol ko kasi talaga yung bass na gumagapang when watching movies.

just my two cents boss......since you already have 50k, magtitiis na muna ako ng konting panahon and will not force myself to buy something just to satisfy the itch of having a home theater asap.......

since your a bass guy, i suggest you get the onkyo525, para left and right ang sub input mo....
its 27k srp kay avshop

you can audition the mission mx series sa sound and vission, skip the mv & m3i series pero kung may budget constaint talaga you can ask for a demo too and their infinity lineup! you can go all bookshelves if you wish too but you nedd a sub agad....
