HDMI to HDMI video + RCA sound?
« on: Jan 20, 2015 at 01:37 PM »
Hi guys! I've been lurking around this forum for a while now (and thus was convinced to get an HP BD-2000 player from CDR King years ago and just recently bought a Skyworth 32e360 LED TV) but I just decided to register now.

So our family has an old Pioneer VS99 system, and I want to hook it up with my PS4 (sayang naman kasi yung speakers niya haha). Is there a converter/adapter I could buy that allows me to have HDMI as my video output but have the old RCA cable for my audio? And if meron, magkano and saan makakabili? Hoping for a response. Thanks!

Not really familiar with PS4, wala ba syang RCA audio out na separate? And setting to use RCA audio and HDMI video?

I think may workaround to get audio while viewing tv. Connect your source to TV via HDMI then connect RCA/line out from TV to Pioneer.

I got an HDMI to VGA [d-sub] adapter for my girlfriend's laptop a few months ago in one of the stores in SM North Edsa. From what I remember, meron doon 3.5mm jack sa may side ng VGA/Dsub adapter. I assume na speaker out or line out sya. Baka pwede nyo i-consider ito. It's around 600 pesos ata.

Hi guys, I went to Listen Up in Glorietta as recommended by usbslave. Unfortunately out of stock daw yung Fiio na converter. Asked everywhere with regards to converters pero yung mga sagot eh panay "Sir, wala pa po atang gumagawa nung gusto niyo". Decided to just get a 3.5 to RCA cable and it works like a charm. Sarap makita na gumagana uli yung dati naming system. And yes, nakatipid din haha. Salamat po sa lahat ng mga nag share ng advice.
