Hi Sir Zram,

Appreciate the quick reply! This is duly noted. I am going to use a pair of Anthony Audio Titus Gold Bookshelf speakers. I don't think I am going to use a subwoofer but having that option would not hurt.

I'll research more about those amplifiers.

Thanks!

Sorry can't comment as I have no experience with those speakers. Good luck!

Best to ask Anthony on what amp he used when he designed/tested the speakers. Not sure now, but years ago, I believe he used a Cayin SS amp for the 1st gen Omega (ring radiator).

JDLabs Baby G or a tube hybrid from JDLabs. all both below 20k. especially the Baby G, well below the 20k limit.

Sounds interesting. Where to inquire about jd labs?

Anyone here using a Yaqin amp? Auditioned the speakers with a Yaqin Amp at Master's showroom.

Anthony Audio Titus Gold BS sir.

sir, what overall sound characteristic are you looking for, warm, neutral, bright, round or not so round?  If Titus Gold is warm, get a neutral sounding amp; if it is bright to neutral get a warm sounding amp.

this hobby is really a journey, there is speaker and amp matching and there is hit and miss talaga. best to audition.

happy hunting.   :)

the NAD C326BEEE gets my vote! ;)  visit or contact Watt HiFi at Makati Cinema Square to check if they have stock, and if you can audition. best to bring your speakers there so you can test. :)

Thanks Guys!

I'm quite new to the community so I am taking the opportunity to learn from you guys. Appreciate the replies.

My apologies for posting in the wrong thread, this should've been under Amplifiers  :(

apologies noted sir, but for me no need for that and its understandable considering the fact that you are new here in this community.

actually, i did not even notice it that you posted under the topic on Speakers (instead of under Amplifiers)

This is indeed a solid pick. But like with anything Audio, system matching and preferences should be taken into consideration.

having owned A audio speakers myself, I think his speakers tend to be on the warm side, and the NADs, which I like paired with the PSB, tend to lean on the warmish-neutral side as well.

Baka lang sumobra :)

You could also get an entry level emotiva, forgot the model, pero mga 11k un ehh. Good bang for buck din.

Cheers :)

I have not tried many amps so far but what amplifier usually sounds neutral given the A Audio speakers have a warm sound sig? :)

Hi!

Locally manufactured amplifiers are also nice from what I have read. I have yet to hear them :)

So far here are the top contenders:

1. NAD 326BEE
2. JD Labs Baby G Amplifier

May I suggest, please include the Sakura AV200T in your auditions. It's a hybrid integrated amp, tube preamp and SS amp section. Get the modded hyperaudio one. Mr. Rivo installed a phono stage in one of the line inputs. It's bang-for-the-buck at 11k. Definitely a must try. Good luck.
