oh yun pala. laking bagay pala talaga ng DLP tech, so parang natalo pa ni uc50 si led86 basta not more than  60" image size.

I can't say nothing about RD806 since I don't owned it. The only way to measure the accuracy of a lumen ratings of a projector is to measure it, but who cares? All manufacturers including branded projectors are able to exaggerate their given lumen ratings. Now back to your question on which has a certified higher lumens? I think its RD806 with 3500 lumens, Led86 has only 2800 lumens according to the specs. given. But I find my Led86 is bright enough for my needs, remember not always the brighter is best, in terms of projector's picture quality.

Thanks for the insight sir :)

You have to  know what image size you are planning to have and with that youll know how far you have to sit away from the screen.

Brightness is  good. But  having too much brightness can tire your eyes especially if you have  a small projected image with a bright projector.

You have to know what size of image you need. The youll know how much lumens you need to view it satisfactorally and comfortably.

Sir what lumens rating is appropriate for 106" inch diagonal screen at 14-15ft viewing distance?

As far as I can tell. Pag 100% Dark room/ 0 outside light, at controlled ang reflected light sa room mo. 3000 Lumens and you can run ecomode if you find it too bright.

But others added that it also depends on your screen also and how to control the bleeding light from the PJ.

Light travels conically, but yung image is square.

So in my particular circumstance, 3000 lumens should be my target brightness level for a pj?

Are you still talking about RD806? I've recently read review on RD806 that it has only 2800 lumens not 3500 according to the user's manual itself.  Pls, read the review    here...http://www.lazada.com.ph/unic-rd-806-hd-3500-lumens-led-projector-black-1208717.html

TECHNICAL COMPARISON...
Led power:
     Led86 100W...............................RD806 150W

Lumens:
     Led86 2800 lumens.................RD806 3500 lumens (2800 lumens according to user's manual) kuno.

Power consumption:
     Led86 120W................................RD806 240W

Aesthetic:
I love to see my Led86 hanging in my living room, it has a good design though it is a huge projector, same as RD806. ;D

I read all the reviews in your link but the one who mentioned it having 2800 lumens was not a verified buyer and another reviewer(who was a verified buyer btw) mentioned that it was indeed 3500 lumens  :-\ ???.

Asan kpa? 1080p native reso, 900ansi lumens, with optical zoom, at higit sa lahat it has a vertical & horizontal keystone. Isa pa ung built-in speaker is "Harman Kardon" with passive subwoofer and has a higher Andoid OS as of this writing.

Sa mga hindi pa nakkaalam , we are talking about the new XGIMI H1

planning to upgrade soon.. iniisip ko kung malaki ba ang difference sa video quality pag nagupgrade ako to LED 86 coming from UC46? baka kasi dahil parehong china ay hindi ganun kalaki ang difference kahit 720p pa to.

Brightness and resolution is the big factor of Led86 for being superior over your uc46, kitang kita yan especially when you are using or feeding it with 1080p video sources. But when I have my uc50, I am now starting to love DLP projectors. :)

Kaya pagmag-upgrade ako sooner or later maybe I will go with 1080p DLP projectors. ;D

As early as now gusto ko nang palitan. Sa settings lang ba to or talagang hanggang duon lang ang kaya nya?

Sorry! wala akong uc46 to compare with my Led86. Pero Led86 is 2800 lumens, 720p native resolution. Whereas uc46 is only 480p native reso and only 1200 lumens according to the writings. Here is my Led86 performance compared to my UC50.   https://youtu.be/oGGi80CmsCE ;D

Brightness & resolution YES! Pero yung color medyo off ng konti. Maganda cya pag bright yong scene na pinapanood mo, especially tv programs, dahil bright nga ito kaya nya labanan kahit bukas ang ilaw ng bahay mo, kaya best cya for tv viewing. ;D
