Tukayo, para saan pala yun compressor mo? For the mic only? And if you didn't use the mic input of your karaoke, paano ang scoring nun?

Mics and the videoke too tukayo. Meron kasi songs na ang lakas while there are those na sobrang hina.

Ayun lang disabled ang scoring.

No not really sir. Paano pa mag scoring eh yun bunso ko 4 years old buhol-buhol pa ang lyrics hahaha! Pagkatapos kumanta sisigaw pa siya ng "palakpakan!".

So masaya naman kahit walang score.

At the moment separate. The mics get compression from the fx send/return while the videoke passes through the compressor first before going into the mixer.

Tukayo, a cheap way is to use a pro 2-channel compressor, 1 channel for efx send/return then the other channel for the minus one. Ang problema lang dito tukayo yun minus one eh magiging mono. Pero hindi naman natin siguro kailangan ng soundstage at imaging dun diba?

Hindi ko pa nasusubukan yan pero sa tingin ko kapag naka isang boteng wine na gaganda na din yan.

kailangan ba talaga or should i say, may malaking improvement ba kung magdagdag ng equalizer vs sa usual 3? and if so, ano ang minimum number of bands?

mahal din pala yang compressor master J. though maganda din pala ang meron para maintained ang output at hindi ka palaging mag adjust ng volume.

kung same ang importance ng EQ at compressor, alin ang uunahing bilhin?

Seriously, compressors not only make things "behave" but it also protects your system. Some tracks kasi are so loud while others are very soft. Sa singer side naman may birit na halos punitin ang dibdib mo sa awa sa speakers.

There will be no conversion, the analog signal is still intact pero the compression circuit will be digital. Baka naman gusto mo detubo pa ang gawin natin compressor? Hahaha!

As bakit naman hindi. What would be a good compressor kundi tube din because of the harmonics na dala niya. Dba?

UY...Nice thread..dami kong natutunan.. Sir Jojo, Taga valenzuela lang po kayo diba? where did you purchase the compressor? or DIY lang nyo sya? Pwede po ba makuha yung exact model ng Mixer nyo planning to buy po..Kasi right now ang setup ko is X-5 Platinum then yung out nya, I used an RCA splitter on both L/R. 1 pair of L/R RCA goes to my Pioneer reciever and I use the external stereo sa receiver para lahat ng speakers may tunog. Then the other pair of L/R RCA goes to my Sakura 737 amp and dun din nakakabit ang mic ko. what's missing po is yung ganda ng tunog ng mic. I'm planning to get a mixer po and I saw the picture you posted. The big question is pano po ang connection. wala po akong masyadong alam sa ganyan. and I really like to hear the difference nung may compressor and kung ano po ang magagawa nyang benefit sa system. Thanks po in advance sa magiging sagot nyo sa newbie na tulad ko. and if in case po na avail na yung compressor kindly reserve 1 for me.
