Topic: Please HELP me decide which is better.. LG or Philips

Hi All,

I'm planning to buy TV this week (around 40inches) but I can't decide which one to pick.. I'm comparing these units but I am too much of a newbie to notice their differences/advantages when it comes to quality and features..  (user of old school tv) 


I will highly appreciate your opinions and suggestions..

bro tignan mo yung SONY 40R550c -- smart tv with audio out/headphone out around 23k sa tv agents here sa pdvd and sa OLX and around 26k sa SM.

LG is tested to play most Video formats from a Flashdrive. Sony and Philips have limited playback capability. If you watch movies/series via USB drive, then this might be worth considering.

hi thanks po sa reply nyo sirs.. im okay po sana with the LGLB6200 kahit na 2014 model sya kaso as per sir vic, phased out na daw po

for the Philips, it can play most of the vid naman po upon checking..just can't decide if ok ba yung unit mismo, i mean in terms of quality and support, if it will last or what..

Correct model is Sony 40R552C. We purchased its bigger brother last month, yung 48R552C.

Hindi ko pa na-test bro. We have an HTPC connected to the TV so we don't use the USB ports at all.

Lg lf5400 if you want 2015 model na. Usb video nakalagay so I assume it can play most formats din.
