Sixers are probably looking towards their game on December 1..... Lakers.   ;D

Wont be surprised if Lakers lose that one. It would benefit the Lakers to keep losing at this point to give themselves a chance to keep their pick for next year.

Ang alam ko nga Lakers have already decided on Okafor.  Yun 48hrs lang talaga leading up to the draft, they changed their mind.  Okafor wouldn't really be that bad of a fit in the frontcourt.  Mukha lang odd fit dati kasi wala pa si Hibbert.  But I think Okafor would have complimented Hibbert or Hibbert would have covered the defensive mistakes of Okafor.

Sometimes you just have to stick to your first instinct.

Would the Lakers have pulled that deal for Hibbert if they picked Okafor? What happens to Randle if Okafor played PF?

In my opinion, baka di na natuloy makipagtrade yung Lakers for Hibbert if they got Okafor.

The Hibbert trade only cost the Lakers a second draft pick.  So they would still pull that off.  Not only do they get a rim protector in Hibbert, they have a mentor for Okafor.  Hibbert is also insurance should Okafor turn out to be a bust....which to date, he is not. Randle is the first big off the bench either spelling Hibbert or Okafor.

......ang baka hindi natuloy tingin ko if the Lakers drafted Okafor would be the FA signing of Brandon Bass.

Sa bagay. 1year deal, cap space at the end for a 2nd rounder. Yun nga lang madedelay konti development ni Randle considering na it is already delayed by a year.

Anyway, whats done is done. Back to the kangkungan the Lakers go.

Steph with 7 3's at the half. On pace to break the record for 3's made in a game (12) :D

e: GSW as a team hit 15/20 3's at the half btw --- an NBA record.

I propose that GSW play against a team featuring Onchie Dela Cruz, Rudy Distrito, Wilmer Ong, Bigboy Reynoso & Beau Belga.

Probably the only way to defend Curry & co. is to injure them on the court.  ;D

Definitely ....... defenses during MJ's time was a lot tougher compared to what we see now e.g. hand-checks, etc.

Steph Curry will go down as one of the greats, but MJ is simply the GOAT.

^I get to watch some old games every once in a while and one thing i noticed was what you have mentioned, parang grabe mang barako mga defenders back then, with SC now I am amazed na parang kahit anong pukol nya papasok I mean James or kobe are excellent players too but with SC parang arcade mode palagi.

Steph Curry will go down as one of the greats, but MJ is simply the GOAT.

I don't agree that defense was tougher in MJ's time. More physical maybe, but not better than defenses today,

The outlawing of handchecks made it easier for guys like Nash/Curry. But the old illegal defense rules made it easier for ISO players such as MJ and post players such as Hakeem/Shaq.

Getting rid of handchecks may have freed up the offense, but the changes in the illegal defense rules made defensive schemes even more sophisticated.

Even if you look at defensive rating (estimate of points allowed per 100 possessions), last year's top defense (Warriors, 101.86) fare better than the 1995-96 Bulls (102.51). The Pistons bad boys of 88-89 doesn't fare as well (105.05, #3 in defense in 88-89), only good for 10th in defense in 2014-15.

I do agree that MJ is better than Curry. I'm just happy that Curry's in the discussion at all.

Pardon my ignorance but who is he?

On another note, so SC is not a two, three yeard old player, matalgal na din pala sya? May napanuod akong show sa basletball tv talking about that player form utah hayword ba yun o haywood na superstar na ang galing ngayon but not that good dati and so is whiteside, i thought mag bagong player lang sila

Tyreke Evans formerly of the Kings, now of the Pelicans. Point forward.

His best statistical year was his rookie year in 2009-10. 19p-5rb-5ast

He leads the league in scoring in the clutch this year. And with a better fg% than anyone in the top 10 -  http://stats.nba.com/league/player/#!/clutch/?sort=PTS&dir=1&Season=2015-16&SeasonType=Regular%20Season&PerMode=Totals
