Topic: Samsung Panel/LCD stain

Hi I have a Samsung 48H5500 and I have noticed this stain on the screen. I am not sure if its within the LCD because I have tried to wipe it but its still present. It is only noticeable on light backgrounds. What do you call that stain? Can it still be removed DIY?Can the unit still be replaced?It was bought Nov 2014.

That's a Dirty screen effect.
This also happened on my Samsung TV.
I think its a panel issue since it comes out after a month or so.
Some say its caused by the AR coating not properly aligned.
Had my panel replaced but still the same symptoms came out after a month or so.
Though on the replaced panel the stain was smaller and barely noticable so I just had to live with it.
If it bothers you so much have it replaced. Samsung has 2 years warranty.
I should have gotten a Sony. Oh well.

Under warranty pa!!! Call samsung for service im sure panel replacement yan!... change unit pag di nawala problema after replacing the panell / board / power supply etc... (they are not allowed to "repair" on site talagang palit buong board! Bawal maghinang) matagal na proseso will take few weeks/months bago pumayag na change unit ang samsung...

Update:
I reported yung stains sa panel ng H5500 ko last Sunday.The ff day may nagpunta agad to inspect. Wednesday, pinalitan ng brand new panel.
This experience made me a Samsung believer and will definitely choose this brand again when its time for an upgrade. Pwera na lang kung bumalik yung dirty screen.

Sabi nung technician alikabok daw na pumapasok sa likod but I highly doubt it. Lets see after a few months kapag may "dirty screen" palit na lang ulit. Ang difference ng panels yung old Made in Malaysia etong bago Made in Korea.
