Nice! Congrats in advance bro...
Actually kahit walang full BD menu happy na ako basta auto play na yung BDMV file without going through the stream folder

I'm very satisfied and happy with the unit. Played all formats flawlessly using Kodi.
Btw, how to know auto play n ung BDMV. TIA.

Not related to your BD movie question. But try using SPMC instead of kodi.

SPMC is a customized version/Fork of kodi  for NSATV made by the previous kodi android  maintainer.

Koying uses the NSATV as his main media streaming box.

Hi guys. TIA

Is that a ebay Philippines seller? Or from a seller abroad and you are having it shipped to the Philippines?

Sayang to. Dapat ng pasabay na din ako. Nakatipid pa ko ng mga 3k compared sa 12500 ng benstore

Tried installing a tweaked Kodi/XBMC(thanks GIJoe) on my NVidia Shield and now I can be able to play BDMV Folders and iso files... But still I can't figure out how to show bluray menus... but Im very happy that I don't have to go to the Stream Folder and look for the main movie :)

SPCM has auto switch. But you have to enable it.

Di ko alam pero bat sinabi na ok naman daw bluray menu.

Quote
All the "PRO" features are now free ... no membership needed , no login needed anymore
BD menu , DTS-HD , TRUEHD pass thru , works
Automatic screen refresh rate change based on FPS , works
switching to 3D if you choose to play the 3D version from the bluray menu (when both 3D and 2D choices are in the movie menu) , works
the Recommended add ons "hack" no one asked for , removed
automatic upload without asking of user stats , "user record" and user report , removed (every time you started it) (Customers are not supposed to be QA)
GUI fps is back to normal (60 fps)
now you can choose which player you want to use (DVDPLAYER or VDMPLAYER) (Long click )

just make sure "use Vidon core" is disabled (by default now)

http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=252356&page=15

I don't know if there's something to do with the specifications of the hardware.

my nvidia shield arrived just now, total cost 9,200 pesos unit plus 1600 pesos shipping fee equals 10,800 pesos, way more cheaper than being sold here in the philippines. plus to make it better it now comes with the remote other than the game controller, usually before, these remote was sols separately, but the unit i purchased now includes this

It is the first time I heard that shield TV are being sold only with the remote and not the game controller. This has been one of the request of the Shield owners next time Nvidia sells a shield is to replace the controller with the remote.  Owners would just get  a third party controller of their choosing.

It is a good deal. I paid like 11500 for my shield a year ago all in all. I used JAC to get it delivered.

Nice, I guess this is part of the promo that Nvidia had  before. 150$ + remote.  That did not last long it sold out fast.

Can Nvidia Shield passthrough Dolby ATmos and DTS-X? What android player is capable?

Thanks.

It now support Dolby ATmos and DTS-X with the newly release 3.3 update.

about to get one - just confirming for those already using this, can you pass thru Atmos, DTS-HD, etc using Kodi (and not the native video player)?
