sir ang hirap magdecide di ba. hehe kasi parehas naman talaga maganda yan and they have almost the same price range. in short there is no right or wrong answer to your question.

but we can only provide comparison between the two to make your life easier, the polk audio speakers have 6 inches woofer, the anthony audio speakers have 8 inches woofer(slightly bigger),with additional woofer and tweeter at the back for a wider soundstage.

my observations are: yung polk audio set in general mas maganda konti sa music because of the clarity and details, yung anthony audio lamang naman slightly sa movies (maybe because of the extra speakers at the back of the left & right speakers and extra speakers at the sides of the center speakers). hence it has wider sound dispersion.pero i noticed may mga genre ng music na mas maganda yung anthony audio titus.

yung polk audio ideal sa small room and medium room, yung anthony audio titus gold set ideal sa medium sized room and large room.polk audio puwede isabit sa dingding(sound port in front), yung anthony audio hindi puwede and yung placement should have space at the back(sound port at the back).

if brand conscious, go for polk audio speakers because they are the safe choice because of the years these have been mass produced. if you are more adventurous and want high performance speakers,go with anthony audio titus gold because they are crafted by no other than master anthony himself.

as to resale value, mas mataas ang price ng polk audio speakers sa anthony audio because of the name(what the heck).as to extra service, may free delivery ang anthony audio and sa repairs,no problem kay sir anthony, basta dalhin mo lang sa kanya, he can repair it for very minimal cost. anyway matagal ang lifespan ng speakers, baka naka tatlong palit ka na ng av receiver, di pa sira ang speakers mo.

its better if you audition both, and let your ears decide kasi we have our own preferences on sound. what may be nice sound for me may not be nice to others. parang food, kanya kanya yan ng taste.

pero whatever you choose in the end, you are still correct because there is no right or wrong choice for this. :)

From Experience Onkyo + Polk might sound too aggressive in terms of pairing.
Aggressive as in you feel tired after a movie.
But if being in the scene is your taste that is a good pairing.

Onkyo + PSB one of the best match I have heard.

have experienced both rti and titus. if you plan to play loud with a low/mid powered receiver get the polks. the titus' need a beefy amp to really sing.

Pwede naman sir yan.. What cooltoyz is saying baka lang medyo mahirapan si Onkyo if you want to drive it at high volume.. It all depends on how loud you play your contents and size of your room to fill it with sound..

I'm sure that should be ok, choosing speakers is a matter of preference naman eh... kung narinig mo yan with your onkyo and you are satisfied and happy on how it sounds then go get it...
