skyworth, worth it?
« on: Sep 09, 2015 at 02:34 PM »
Hi newbie here. Came to this forum to help decide which led tv to buy. My kid broke the display panel few days ago a samsung 30 inch and was told the cost to replace is around 15k+ :-[

Saw a skyworth 40e380i smart led tv for a very tempting price of 14995. It is a soft panel though, could be an issue. Just wanted to ask if someone from here has experience with it. Would love to hear ur inputs before I jump in... Thanks

Me too....anybody has any experience on skyworth?  Two office mates already bought units and it's been a year now with no complaints.   Hope others share their experiences. Price is tempting ;D.

If you are looking at Skyworth you might want to consider MyView as well. Read several good reviews of the MyView 40" and 50" displays

My 50" LED is still chugging along well. No complaints so far. Got it more than a year ago

Owner of 32'' Skyworth LED. TV is almost 3years old and still running ok. Used and abused by the kids, playing maybe 6-7hours. Aside from the remote which broke due to it being constantly dropped by the kids, everything else ok so far. :)

I can vouch for Skyworth. 2years warranty now. I believe ABS CBN news and Big Brother uses Skyworth Brand. Been to their factory in Shenzhen last April, they are also making some tvs of LG, Devant, etc.
