kahit i-review pa ni Kume Chito Narvasa ng 100-beses ang issue at i-replay paulit-ulet ay hindi na kayang baguhin ang resulta :-(

It was a missed call by the refs - though, it should be hard to call in realtime ....... we the viewers have the benefit of replays and multiple angles - the difference of a violation was probably just fractions or a whole second, at most.

Ika nga, breaks of the game ....... not unlike the horrendous bad call that the refs called in the Dubai road game between GINEBRA and ALASKA. That call was criminal and gave GINEBRA the win.

All I can say is, heheheh, mabuti at nakatikim din si Tim Cone nang ref jobbing since he got onboard with SMCORP.

the difference is just 0.3 of a second. i don't think anyone can EXACTLY count 5 sec. breaks of the game lang talaga anyway lamang nmn GP by 1 point and BGK iirc has no more timeouts left. kudos to Stanley and Terrence walang kaabog abog tumira kahit malalaki bantay

I don't think so. Mga 8 or 7 seconds left noong nag start mag ball-hog si Pringle. Saka meron pa ata 1 full timeout ang BGK. Meron pa siguro 2 or 3 seconds para makapag-execute ng play ang BGK kung sakali tinawagan ng violation ang Global Port. Madami pa pwede mangyari sa ilang segundo na natira. Unfortunately, we will never know kung ano dapat ang nangyari.

because the designed defense of cone is to trap the ballhandler & force a ball hog violation> no foul, just do the math, 8secs-5secs=3secs is more than enough for a last play for bgk, pwedeng quick 2 attemp kasi 1pt lang lamangng gp, unfortunately nalunok naman yung pi-to, ang masakit, sabay sabay yung tatlong refs na lumunok, at ang tagal magdecide, nag antayan pa

I'm not an expert pero kung same score sana ok lng na wag mag foul right? That was an awful decision on cone's part, just my opinion..

it's an old defensive strategy na din sir, bibihira lang mangyari yang ganyang situation, madalas sa barangay/corporate league nangyayari yan lalo na pag knockout game. but last night's game is not a barangay game & the referees are not pang barangay lang na referees, they too have a license & professionals, but they are only humans too, nagkakamali din, kung jawo era yan nangyari, ewan ko na lang

In my opinion, kahit alam nila na matatrap nila ng 5 seconds si Pringle eh dapat nag foul na lang sila and request for the replay after the whistle. Pwedeng pwede naman silang humingi ng replay sa deadball lalo last minutes yun. Stick to the game plan na lang mag foul hanggang walang pitong na naririning in favor of them.

Parang Alaska - Ginebra game lang nung Dubai, masama rin tawag ng ref sa huli kaya nanalo ang Ginebra.
Parang kagabi lang kaso in favor of Global Port naman, ang masakit eh do or die game yun.

8secs remaining we dont expect a ball hugging violation on such though irony it happened.
the play should be try to steal the ball within 3 to 4 secs if not then foul para may ample time pa to have the last shot after the ft. kahit sablay second ft or pasok may TIMEout pa which was needed to inbound on half court and set play havng atleast 3 to 4 secs
naging maganda lang talaga ung defensa ng Ginebra without noticing na time will expire na after nilunok ng refs ang mga pito.
sabi nga breaks of the game. if the ginebra will have the ball pos wala pa namang kasiguradohan na mananalo though it would have been more exciting
bawi nalang. hindi din naman pedeng tumawag ung ref after reviewing when theres no time left on the clock.

that was a smart decision by Tim cone,ineexpect ng GP na mag fofoul ang ginebra. nung hindi nag foul nataranta si Pringle kaya tumagal hawak nya sa bola. kaya lang nakalimutan yata ng refs ung ganung rule kaya hindi tinawagan. still hats off to coach tim

ayun talaga ang play to trap but not to trap and expect the 5secs unless ung oras is more than 10secs
when you trap you expect to steal the ball but still requires to foul if hindi makuha ung bola
risky but then again hats off the ginebra ..
