hi,

thinking between the 2 options for our new 25 sqm home theater

kef r700 vs focal aria 926. primary purpose is movies, 2nd is music.

our receiver is tx-nr838 although im planning in selling this too but if no one will buy it them might just use it

any other similar models from other brands that i can also look at? value or bang for the buck

Suggest you bring your receiver to the respective dealer of the speaker models you are eyeing and listen to them. Only then can you decide which one is your preference. Happy hunting

Dati may R700 din ako, panalo yan brad sa movies and music, kaso bias ako. Hehehe. Havent tried focal. Pero hindi ka naman magsisisi sa kef for sure. Tama sila sa suggestion to audition first before pulling the trigger. Goodluck sa hunting!

If Onkyo AVR, you may want to audition it with Goldenear speakers.

kailangan ko pa talaga ng receiver? para saan sir? what should i expect dapat?

planning to sell that kasi needed ko 7.1.4 but this is only 5.1.2 atmos pero ang mahal pa ng 7.1.4 capable na receivers.

+1 on the golden ear. I'll be opening my shop near tiendesitas area and will be using goldenear speakers with an onkyo reciever. Just in case you're near the area you can audition

You might need a better amplification to really make those KEFs sing. Sound wise, I find the R700 warmer than the Aria.

Consider nyo sir ang yamaha 3050 which can do 7.1.4 for atmos set up. Di ko lang alam kung meron na sa atin. Follow the avs forum about this yamaha

Sir, saan exact location and when ang opening? Araw araw kase c5 ako dumadaan so magandang tambayan.

If you decide to get a higher powered reciver or amp the tritons would be pretty good.

Pwedeng triton 1 or 2 bro. However sayang yung speakers mo if you're just going to use an 838. Better get a more powerful reciver or a pre amp/amp combo.

ano dapat receiver ko? medyo newbie ako but learning hehe. di ba babagay din ang kef r700 and focal aria sa 838?
