if my research is correct, this is a mini/portable projector. as such, you cannot expect it to project a very large image. probably around 50" for it to be decent. based on the brightness numbers, make sure the room is very dark in order to use it properly. if i were you, i'd save up a little more and buy a better one. try the new epson entry level units. some are not too far from your 300 dollar budget. you can also consider the epson 2030. it gives good quality and the replacement bulbs are inexpensive. there are also ok priced optoma, acer and benQ PJs.
