Mga sirs Merry Christmas po sa ating lahat. A friend just gave me a sony receiver ES STR 2DAES ito po yung full specs niya and one Yamaha center speaker 6ohms nominal impedance and one optimus center speaker at 8 ohms nominal impendance.

I have already hooked up the receiver with the speakers and I've notice mas pronounced at malakas yung Yamaha Center speaker paired with the Kohel speaker compaired with the Optimus.
Ang problema ko lang ay 6 ohms yung Yamaha, di kaya masira ang sony receiver na naka set sa 8ohms? considering that yung front speaker ay 8ohms?
And also does the impendance of the sub still matters when it is an active one and it is only connected via the sub out of the receiver?
