Topic: what would beat or match svs pb-1000 with a lower price

I think i will be getting wharfedale diamond 100 set for my speaker due to budget constraints.and now for the sub..since i always read here and there that svs is the safe way to go.  Im just wandering if anyone think that another cheaper sub can beat or match the entry level of svs?

SVS PB1000 is nice and cannot be beaten sir at that price.

if talagang bitin sa budget,

just avoid wharfedale spc10 or spc 12 kc mahina ang sound (dahil sealed sub).

Mas maganda sigurong tanong anong sub ang pwedeng bilin na pasok sa budget mo. Yung tanong mo kase will solicit different reactions, people will say wala other would say meron. Sometimes its really the budget that dictates kung ano ang pwedeng bilin

thanks masters i think what i researched and replued in my post.the nest way is just to buy svs

A used pb12 will outperform a pb1000.

A used one can be had for around the same price of a new pb1000

if you need a small footprint sub, you could consider the GoldenEar ForceField 3 or Definitive Technology SuperCube 2000. but both of these would cost more or less the same as an SVS PB1000.

if you don't mind the weight and can spare vertical space, you could consider the A Audio dual 10" or dual 12" subwoofer.

sir,considering that you will buy SVS PB1000 subwoofer na 10" lang, bili ka na lang ng PB12NSD (its 12"),tutal konti na lang price difference. it definitely produces deeper,lower subsonic sound, better than the pb1000.

try to audition both subs and you will hear the difference. SVS PB12NSD will beat the PB1000 anytime, pound for pound.

klipsch rw12D bro...it gives me that masahe feeling naman . Kung narinig mo at naramdaman mo na yang svs, at di kaya ng bulsa, tyaga lang sa pag audition ng ibang brand...

You could build a similar or better sub at half the cost IF you can DIY. But, aside from the knowledge and skills required, that of course will eat up a lot of your time.

naku kahit  SVS PB1000 pa yan pwede pa rin mangati.....to the higher model...kaya yung higher model na lang bilhin mo kahit secondhand..
