With your speakers, a Polk Audio PSW 125 should is more than enough.

I believe in the saying, "You get what you pay for." A lot of times, I have invested in gears due to budget constraints, then after a while, I end up selling it at a loss kasi hinde sya sapat. So I learned to audition, read reviews, ask opinions and hunt for the right gears to invest kahit mahal. Kung wala akong budget, pinag-iipunan ko. Sir Mike can attest to this. My very first SVS sub was purchased after 1 year of saving money. Sobrang hirap kasi I wanted the sub na, but no cash. However, at the end of the day, once I got it, it was all worth it

I still have that sub until now and then some. Invest wisely not only for the moment, but for the long haul

PSW125 would do, audition mo bilis ng gapang nyan kung gapangan ng bass usapan and for SQ okay rin sya both for audio and movies for me ha.

d ba hanggang 32hz lang kayang abutin ng polk audio psw125 sub? its a 12inch sub but cannot go down to below 20hz.
pero at the price of only 15k, theoretically cguro kahit dalawang psw125 pasok sa budget...but cannot go down that low on some demanding lfe movies. it will be...

yes technically hindi so YMMV, yung gapangan at yung bayuhan pwede na PSW125 para sa akin ha wala naman kasing nag totodo ng sub sa gain eh di mo rin ma enjoy yung sobrang lakas ng sub.

ma full volume mo yung sub mo kung bitin talaga sayo yung size and size does matter talaga pag sub usapan,

so when you got ur pb12 na, how does it differ with psw125? is the deeper sound really that noticeable?
btw its a 30k peso additional, is it worth the price? kc you will just lower ur volume din naman for most demanding lfe effects. otherwise bka ipa barangay ka na ng mga kapitbahay mo.unless kung soundproof ang room.

na miss ko sa PSW125 yung bilis ng response compare sa SVS ko, but yung QUALITY nung lows lamang na lamang SVS lalo na sa movies, pag may nakasanayan kasi ako madali ko ma notice difference eh iba yung gamay mo na kasi.. kaya ga YMMV talaga.

Anyways, mapa branded/imported, locally made man yan o DIY nasa bawat tao ang pasya. Meron talagang makilatis hindi lang sa SQ kundi pati na ang porma. May iilan namang kagaya kong praktikal na nakukontento sa simple at mura. Kanya-kanyang hugot. Hugot sa isip at impluwensya ng barkada. Hugot sa lalim ng bulsa.

Iba iba tayo ng panlasa, iba iba din ang ating room condition. Kahit gaano pa yan ka mamahalin ang gears kung ilalagay mo naman sa untreated room, hindi mo rin mamaximize o maachieve ang full potential ng mga ito. Maganda talaga nyan mag side by side (blind) test ka.

In my case, yung 12" DIY sub + BASH amp vs. 15" Velo ay halos di naglalayo ang performance. Yes!

Paanong nangyari yun? Posibleng dahilan ay ang kahinaan ko sa pandinig o pakiramdam. Untrained ears 'ika nga. Good for me dahil hindi ako mahirap i-please.

Tnong mo si anthony kung meron din syang "HiDef Sub"..problema mo lang kung saan ka maghahanp ng HiDef sub cable.

Kadalasan wala sa speaker ang prpblema, nasa room, placement at gumagamit.

anthony audio dual 10 inch sub or dual 12 inch sub excellent sa movies.but i think anthony is no longer building them.
meron pa nga dati, yung halimaw sub! pero d na cya gumagawa nun. diy is best kung inspired at willing pa yung gagawa kc mahirap gawin with all the efforts tapos isang piraso lang.tapos tatawad ka pa sa presyo hehe..lugi.

Mahirap talaga maghanap ng aftermarket sub that can go below 20hz na maski -10db lang from average response. Kung meron man, its gonna be more than P50t. Usually rolled off to -20db na. Pero once you've tried that sub 20hz, you'll never look back. Hehe!

Yeah. Kaya i went the same route sa sub as master Stagea. Bigger lang ang design enclosure na ginawa niya for me at 8 cu. feet to maximize the 15" driver.
