Yup, same here--I'm on episode 8, and it's been all good so far (may pagka-OA lang si Ward). Critics can talk sh!t however they want, but I like this better than Jessica Jones (which was depressing) and Luke Cage (which put me to sleep lots of times).

Also, a big difference is that Danny knows his power and uses it whenever it's needed, not like Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, who both hide what they are and are reluctant to use their abilities.

2 episodes in and I don't find anything wrong with this show.  Mas mabilis pa nga ang pacing compared to LC and JJ (and I liked both nevertheless).

Am I the only one who found this show particularly lame? Found the storytelling extremely disjointed and just plain lazy. Piss poor acting all around and my god, the fight scenes and display of martial arts are just so extremely cheesy and stereotypical. Just sad. I think the only saving grace here would be the Meachums, who at least put on a decent job at portraying their respective characters.

In summary - extremely disappointed.

+1 on the fight scenes... it's like fighting in slow motion... Daredevil S1 fight scenes, IMHO, is still the benchmark for all Marvel TV series

Just finished it. I retract what I said earlier. Finn Jones is really a bad fit for the role. Bad acting, OA, no kung fu skills and form at all. Totally disappointed including the story. Total waste of a netflix marvel series.

Finished it na rin as well; it was still more interesting than Jessica Jones and Luke Cage for me storywise (the eastern mystical aspect of it all), but the overall production was a mess; the fight scenes were laughably bad, and I can't stand Finn Jones as Danny Rand, who he plays like a 13-year old boy that's always throwing a tantrum. He's too scrawny, and looks like a hipster with greasy hair and a punchable face. They should've picked someone else.

Colleen Wing made for a much more compelling character. Sana sya na lang yung may Netflix series. She fights better, acts better, and has a more interesting story.

i finished the first season but was not impressed. the lead actor's acting and voice made him sound like a whiny teenager. the fight scenes were poorly choreographed and looked amateurish. slow motion is really the best description for the fight scenes. so far, it's only daredevil that really stands out among these netflix-marvel superheroes.

And she's very delightful to watch.

Struggling to watch this na din. And im only on ep 3 pa lang.

Si Colleen na lang inaabangan ko lalo na pag naka sando at boxer shorts lang sa scene.

^It goes on much too long--sobra yung 13 episodes, they should've made it 8 or 10 episodes, and it's a pain to watch Finn Jones constantly snarl like he knows how to act, LOL. Buti pa si Ward, who redeemed himself in the end when I thought he was a bit OA in the early epsiodes (si Danny pala yung real OA, haha), and I'm glad because the actor who plays Ward was really good in Banshee.

But dapat talaga they should make a Daughters of the Dragon series with Jessica Henwick and Simone Missick.

^ Agree about actor Tom Pelphrey (Ward). Now that it's been mentioned, the Meachum kids (Pelphrey and actor Jessica Stroup) and Colleen (Jessica Henwick) were the real stars of the show.

I was actually hooked with this series up until episode 6.  Na bore nako starting episode 7.  But so far, I find this better than Luke Cage and Jessica Jones.
