Display Unit

Any feedback on buying a display unit?

I saw one a Samsung or LG (can't remember the brand) display unit being sold at 30% off.  They said they won't have replacement warranty anymore, but manufacturer's warranty is still valid

Got my 60inch last year for about 75k only. Display unit LG. 4K Smart 3D. Same warranty with 7 days replacement. LG has this "hours used" that just registered a total of 10 days of viewing (240 hours). Not bad for its price back then. No regrets.

Got a Samsung 29 inch display unit CRT TV from Citibank Appliance Fiesta.  I got the usual 30% OFF.  Had some problems one month prior to expiration of the warranty. Samsung replaced the picture tube. Hanggang ngayon my in laws are still enjoying it.

Parang brand new na.  Lucky it happened within the warranty.

Just got one sony 55x8000c.  55 inch. 50k. Display unit from abenson.  They say its a display for bout 2 months.  Its been 4 days since. So far so good. Hope this holds up long term.  Someone reviewed the 49inches of this on another thread. He is spot on his review. Partucularly the hassle of androidtv os. Lg webos is better at this point. Im hoping the potential of android tv actually pans out eventually.
