In most games that Pop rested his main men this year, they still come up winning ... when other teams do it, they get blown out of the game ... and Pops open secret is his second unit - 3 All Star players, and Spurs second unit has more championship rings than their starters or any starting 5 of the entire NBA today

2nd unit kasi ng Spurs good as starter sa ibang team ... during the GSW game wherein di pinaglaro sina Curry, wala rin three starters ng Spurs (LA, Kawhi, and Tony) and their backup point guard, so battle of second units - description ng mga commentators after the game, buzz kill daw ... iba rin kasi mindset ng mga stars nila, ok lang mas mababa sweldo kaya may room sila to get more quality players

shorter season? i guess this reinforces my belief that players of old were made of sterner stuff. ac green for example missed only three games in his 16-season career. there was even a season when he played 83 games. and green isn't a soft player--always battling with bigger, stronger guys, fighting for the ball. over the recent years, it's not unusual to see dnp-rest in the box scores.

more scientific? not sure about that. more injuries nowadays. better play today? not for me. flopping [both on defense and offense] was rare then, so was the hack whoever has the ball strategy.

I think the hack strategy has been practiced then. Especially in close games. Shaq just made it too easy though

As for flopping, it used to be fun to watch. Now, it's just too brazen.
