LG LED TV not detecting HDMI Inputs
« on: Jul 01, 2016 at 04:32 PM »
This is the 2nd time I experienced this.  As I was watching a video playing through HDMI1, it suddenly went blank and the "No Signal" logo appeared.  At first, I thought it was the media player, or the AVR, since I tried all HDMI ports of the TV and various HDMI cables.  There was "No signal" on every HDMI input.  So I tried connecting it to a regular PC monitor and it worked fine.

I didn't use the TV for a few days, and tried it again yesterday and same thing happened.  I was watching something and it suddenly went blank. So now I'm sure that it's the TV.

Has anyone experienced this as well?  I'm thinking of just moving this TV into the smaller bedroom, where we can just watch local channels and use the USB input for video, but no more HDMI.  I'm afraid that the cost of repair maybe too much.  I have another TV anyway that I can move into the living room.

The TV is about 3-4 years old.  Any thoughts?  Thanks.
