Hospitality / Hotel Smart TV vs. Regular Smart LED TV
« on: Jul 08, 2016 at 04:47 PM »
Hi, is there anyone who have tried using a Hospitality / Hotel Smart TV as a regular home TV flat panel? (for cable, dvd and blurays)

http://www.samsung.com/us/business/discover/hotel-smart-tv/

Is it possible? Or any limitation?

Appreciate any inputs. Thanks in advance!  :)

Hotel / Hospitality TVs are pricier than regular sets by about 35-40%

They have an special interface with the hotel system for Billing information, centralized Cable TV source, Movies on demand, Hotel services menu, Guest announcements, Checkout etc.

They also have a special remote control with additional keys for the extra services.

They usually do not have tuners but may have multiple USB and HDMI slots.

It is better to buy a home TV with bigger size and better features with the extra money.  Unless you are getting one for free.  ;D
