My samsung plasma ps43
« on: Jul 18, 2016 at 12:34 AM »
Pahelp naman guys. While watching yesterday sa sammy namin, me pumutok sa tv, then, nawala na picture, then after 10 secs, me pumutok uli. Irerepair daw nila, for 5500. Is it worth na ipagawa pa yung tv? Thanks!

Ang hirap ng situation mo. Sometimes I tihnk worth it ipa-repair because plasma. But one thing that worries me is after mapalitan yun board, baka may ibang parts naman ang bumigay due to age.

Try to get a second & third opinion ng mga repair centers. Baka naman diode lang or something small. Minsan kasi, maski maliit lang ang sira, most repair centers tend to change the whole board na lang. Why? Kasi baka abutin ng 2 days hindi pa ma-trace ang sira so in the end, they find it economical and priftable to change the whole board.

Thanks sa mga replies!

Sir Nelson, me marerecommend po ba kayo na repair center?  Marikina area.

Yung lg led tv ko nasira din after 4 years. May pumutok din na dalawa. May pinalitan ako maliit na parts sa loob without replacing the whole board tapos ok na. After hours of use pumutok ulet. Next time buo board palitan ko. Naisip ko parang nakaset to fail ang tv after 4 years

Try these guys. They can work miracles. When my 5 year old Philips 40" died last month, faulty motherboard, I took it to the service center which couldn't fix it because there are no more parts, so they gave up. Beta replaced the motherboard with another one so it technically isn't Philips anymore but it came out better with some added features, so it's got a new lease on life now.

BETA SYSTEM REPAIR
244-3981 to 82 , 244-7303
1055 REINA REGENTE ST, BINONDO

===============================

Wow! Just got back from Beta and my Bravia has risen from the dead :D I had them diagnose the TV the other day and immediately got a feedback of what was faulty: it wasn't the entire LCD panel as opposed to what the "casa" told me but just the circuit board or what they call "t-con". Today I got reunited with my Bravia and i'm stoked, just in time for the NBA opening! Thanks sir Kenneth!

This shop is highly recommended. They can literally bring back Lazarus to life :p and they charge way cheaper than than the service centres.

==================================

Thank You Kenneth for recommemding this shop! They got my old 46 lcd tv fixed in a fraction of the cost :)

This is from a thread in PHILMUG...  Try contacting the service repair shop... they might be able to help... i hope your unit can still be repaired...

Hi TS
Ano na po nangyari sa TV nyo? Did you have it repaired or did you just buy a new one? Exactly the same thing ang nangyari sa TV ko (Samsung 50in plasma).  Called Samsung and they will have somebody take a look at it, Kinakabahan rin ako sa cost ng repair since the unit is already out of warranty.

Thanks

Brought it sa LOVE electronics, kaso 5500 daw.  Papalitan Ysus board.  Wanted to try yung naka post na Beta system repair, kaso wala pa time para madala.  Malayo kasi sa kin.

be careful with this Beta Repair Shop. Sobra taga maningil nyan. They are good technicians but they charge really high.

IF you go there be sure to say "estimate muna" otherwise they will just go ahead and fix it and charge you P6k for just a simple loose connection.
