Started a simple htib setup in my living room couple years ago, got a chance to upgrade last year (but not the real one) for another htib Lg bh9540tw setup.
Sold the htib recently.
Here's a pic of my living room with the recent htib.
Now time to upgrade, gathered all the things, most are ordered from US.
Gears arrived, receiver, speakers for my fronth height(polk owm3), banana plugs, cables, even ordered svs soundpath for my svs pb1000, hdmi cables, satellite speaker mounts. Subwoofer cables 15ft and 50ft.(might sell the 50ft)
Question for cable:
I have 2 sets of cables, 14awg c&e and 12awg monoprice (bought from anya), both ofc copper, both 100ft.
I am now in a process of installing them.
Cables will be coming from one side of my wall to my sorrounds so the other line will be longer.(right sorround)
Can i use 14awg for my left sorround and 12 awg for my right sourround speaker?
Is there a possible effect if i do this?
I need to utilize cables because i cannot afford anymore to buy another 100ft 12awg sayang kasi. Sorround speaker is svs sss-01 dipole btw
Pwde ko ba pagsamahin ang speaker cable at skycable cable sa isang moulding? Meron bang effect eto sa sound?
Question for my receiver:
I will be running 5.1.2 atmos setup.
Where will i connect the front height speakers? Should it be sorround back? Or front height? Im hesitant connecting it to front height since it is labeled "biwire"
