Re: Kodi 17, how come I don't see the DTS and DTS-HD receiver passthrough in the Kodi Audio Settings installed on HiMedia Q10 Pro,  while I can see it appearing on my android phone (same Kodi ver 17 installed)? Did I miss anything?

TIA.

Are you liking the kodi 17?

Pahinugin ko muna, saka na ko mag upgrade:)

what I dislike is the default GUI of Kodi 17.. and during movie play, the media info display is different.

as i was advised to change its skin to Confluence, there I got back the look & feel of Kodi 16.1 =))

i'm not a tinker of Kodi, I just use it to play my offline movies from my HDD.  and still find it the same greatest media player app on the planet for me =))

kudos to team Kodi!

hi KODI/SPMC users...

do you notice a "round" thingie on the middle right side of your screen whenever you're watching movies in KODI/SPMC?  I have no mouse control so I don't know if it can be clicked or for what purpose is it?

how can we suspend this from appearing on our screen?  any section in Settings to turn this off?

this happens with all my Android TV devices: Sony Android TV, WeTek Hub and NVidia Shield.

TIA!

found what could possibly be the culprit (nothing to do with KODI.  I will uninstall my ES File Explorer, in this case -- and re-install/uninstall it if ever I'll need it in the future =))

You can also disable notifications from the ES File Explorer itself. Go to the apps settings.

Kodi has a file manager under settings
I want to bring that to the main kodi menu , I saw the menu is customizable but dunno how to associate accustom menu with the kodi file manager(under settings)

My brain is wired to see target (left) and destination (right) , blame it on text based file managers (dos)

I doubt it. BD is encrypted.

Off topic lang po sandali,

Is there a big difference in picture quality if i play my movies from a media player compared to playing movies using a flash drive on to the USB port of my projector?

I usually plug my flash drive to my PJ since it plays movies naman.

I would say it would depend on the video specifications of your projector vs. that of a media player.

My PJ is a RD806 720p native resolution.  Kung 4k ang media player

Meron kasi ako na-download na windows 10 based bluray player (Leawo bluray player) and I can play BDs sa laptop ko using my external BD drive just like playing in desktop bluray player. Unfortunately walang android version.

Sa mga naka-Jarvis (16.x), may widespread issue sa Video Addons, ayaw gumana ng Exodus at Alluc ngayon...

When I watch Kodi using just the TV speakers, it seems the background music is loud, but the dialogue is a bit soft.  Does this have to do with audio settings in Kodi?   How can I correct?

Kodi 17.2 is out.

http://koditips.com/kodi-17-2-download-change-log-info/

Kodi 17.3 is out already, I think with improved security patch.
