Topic: Polk audio service center for speakers/subs

Hi ,

i have a polk audio psw110 subwoofer. Suddenly it produced a constant humming sound. Upon searching the net. It seems that this is called motor boating which is caused by a bad amp. Would you guys know if there is a service center for polk audio speakers here in the philippines? If we do not have an authorized service center, where do you guys recommend i have this fixed? I live in quezon city.

I guess its grounding problem ng sub amp or baka cra na ung spider ng speaker. Pero baka my warranty pa yan ask d shop where u bought it.

Hi bro. Maybe you could help me, i recently came into a PSW10, (120v), plugged into 220v. Had a peek at the plate amp, but seems like there were some wires cut, no more fuse. Short of ordering a replacement plate amp, im looking for someone who can help me fix this, then i saw your post. Please let me know, My no is 09175200427, thanks.

i had my PSW110 serviced at Audible Illusions (afaik, authorized service center sila). not sure if fair ung siningil sa akin, but it was more or less what i had expected to pay for the repair work to be done. 3 month warranty for same issue
