Sayang. Those are real value for your money tube amps. I use to own the souped up version of their preamp .. Simple, small but very transparent sounding.

not quite,ths is a hybrid amp,  remember the output stage  ised a gainclone power chips,
much like the Sakuea AV200 which has ow become obsolete....

i have a suspicion that owners will find it hard to part with their units....this is a bang for the buck amp...

The Dared/Fatman MP5 is not the only "tube" amp Dared made, They also made true PP and SET amps too which is what they are talking about here.

The MP5 is a piece of novelty similar to Joe Rasmussen's design, I passed a review article and upgraded one many many moons ago.
