Nope. Definitely not wireless. Even at 802.11AC 5GHz, bandwidth is insufficient for 24/96 streaming, much less DSD64.
In my system, the CXN is wired to a gigabit Ethernet switch via CAT6E cable. The computer running the UPNP server software is also connected to the gigabit switch via CAT6E cable. My SACD rips are stored in the computer and all connections are verified with a gigabit testing device.
In this manner, I am not only able to stream DSD64 quickly and reliably, my wife upstairs can simultaneously stream to the media player unremuxed Bluray rips stored on the same computer.
For high res media streaming, wired is definitely the way to go.
