Need Immediate Help - Plasma or LED
« on: Oct 24, 2016 at 12:20 PM »
Need help mga sir.  My plasma had a vertical line and I guess it wont be repaired anytime soon so I'd have to purchase a new tv within the week.  I was offered a 60" plasma (model 60H5000) for 52k.  My concern is I know at that price Id be able to get an LED, but I'm used to the display and picture quality of a plasma and if ever it would be my 3rd plasma tv.

My question is, is it worth getting it or just get an LED tv?  If LED can you suggest a model around that price (preferably LG or Samsung).  I can only spend up to 55k.

Thanks, hope someone can help.

you may audition the Sammy LED 4K KS7000 series.  I think it would fit your budget.

question on plasma, matipid ba ito or mas mataas power consumption against LEDs?  Also, yung panel ba ng plasma umiinit or the usual rear side lang?

Significantly higher consumption in general, but most people don't mind. It gets warm on both sides, though warmer yung rear ng panel dahil less ang ventilation (enclosed side).

Sharp LC-60LE360D3 may be worth a look if you want a similar size (it'd end up much cheaper). Samsung 55KU6000 / 55KU6300 if you're willing to go smaller.

If you can go 2K higher, the 55KS7000 is on sale:
