Is your receiver turned on kapag may humming or turned off?

Try to replace the cable first. If you are using generic RCA cables that are freebies when you buy the components chances are the noise enters that path.

A long time ago, I spent two and a half days diagnosing an amp that used bad RCA cables. The idea that the problem was staring at me for days hurt my self-esteem more than my brain. That lesson is now stuck with me for as long as I live.
