Thanks for the tip. But I am reluctant to try and update as the Samsung service already created the report with a recommendation to replace . Maybe they will review the report at the head office..And send in another tech...There was also no note of the firmware version..

Btw any recommended settings ?

I read that it supports wireless Ac. But have not tried it, I am using N300 and so far amazon prime uhd videos and 4k you tube. plays continously

Your PC needs to have a DLNA/UpNP server for the Samsung to be able to pick up the content and view it.

Kodi, Plex or some other dedicated UpNP service should work.

My 55KU6000 is not mounted on the wall and I am just using the TV stand. I notice that it is not sturdy. Is that really how it should be?

Just today, my Samsung 55ku6000 showed power issues. I tried powering it on but it only would turn greyish for a second, and then off, about 2 seconds greyish again, then off.... Called up Samsung hotline and scheduled for checkup. Barely 2 months ganon na ang nangyari...

Gone are the days na durable talaga ang tv. Everything is disposable. Kung maganda (at affordable) ang Sony, eto ang bilhin ko. Yung Panasonic plasma ko inabot 6 years na hindi man lang nagka issue. Binigay ko na lagn sa parents ko when I upgraded.

sir, last week nandoon ako sa Sony service center, meron ding napa repair ng 43inch smart Sony tv, maraming lines ibaibang color sa screen. Mga 3 months pa raw...

Huwag naman sana mangyare sa tv ko ito. We have the same tv model and brand. 50" nga lang sakin kasi maliit lang sala namin.

May lemon naman talaga sa lahat nang brand. Ang labanan na lang mas kaunti ang failures per batch. Parang ang dami kase sa Samsung lumalabasa na problema, pero siguro dahil #1 din sila at maraming benta

I had the same browser issue with my KS7000 and searched the Internet for solutions. There is an option to turn this effect off, at least for the Samsung KS7000. With the remote, long press the volume button (or is it the channel button?) and an option for High Contrast will appear. Simply turn it off. If the solution is applicable for the Ku6000, then I guess having it replaced was a bit of a hassle.

ay oo di mawawala yan, ang testing nyan by batch of 100pcs lang then gora na yung the rest sa 1000pcs na ilalabas 10% lang ng product ang full test nila then sell na sa market by batch.

After about 2-3 weeks from the time my 55ku6000 broke down, it is now back to life with a new lcd panel, sabi ng service center it would cost about 80% of a new tv of same model. BeforeI always say that the big 3- Sony, Samsung and LG would be a better buy than the others yet, after my experience I doubt if I still have that same feeling. Anyway, I just hope that it would now be ok until the next 10 yrs...

It you want to improve the sound of this or any tv with minimal cost, . Then. Use a 2.1 speaker for pc's ,just get an optical to rca converter for < 500. @ Lazada

try plex, which you also have to install on your pc
