Help on denon avr1613

Binigay sa akin, kala ko jackpot na..

No power.. check fuses na nakita ko (4 fuses).. ok naman using multimeter.

Any suggestions?

seems to have sorted out the problem. One of the ic in the hdmi pcb assembly got a crack at the top. Further searching for a quick repair online i found out that this model has issues with the said part.

sayang.. mukhang bago pa naman. may nakita ako sa ebay na same avr for 100$.. baka kunin ko na lang yun.

my question is di na ba magpopower pag ganon ang problem?

an IC has cracked, sir?  due to overheat/overuse kaya?

sell that unit nlang for parts.. =)

That chip could be shorting the DC supply going to it which in turn disrupts the power on sequence. If you can remove the entire board try mo ipatanggal ang IC via heat gun (sa electronics or CP repair shop), then reinstall the board and try if it powers up.

Can i try removing the ribbons and see if it power?

yes.. mukhang problema ata ng mode na ito yung buong hdmi assembly. dunno the purpose of that chip.
