Coming from Led86C lcd projector, then tried a pico dlp projector (UC50). Now a little step-up from my previous two projectors, and tried this budget 3D dlp led projector.

MAX500 came days ago.

Nakuha ko ng usd386 including shipment by fedex and took only 6days in my doorstep na, with 1pc. of 3D glass. worth 20usd. Total usd406, from Ali-express.

This mini-projector is equipped with the active shutter 3D-imaging technique used by DLP cinema projectors. The 3D movie source that i've tested so far, is just coming from video streaming on this projector, and the result is GREAT! This mini-projector almost have it all. It has an ethernet port, wifi, bluetooth, auto keystone correction, usb2 and usb3 port, mira-cast, Hdmi/MHL, and full Android functions. SPDIF audio out not tested yet, but there is a Raw feature in audio settings for digital out. The audio output from the internal speaker of this pj is also good, but not great, but remember you can connect your bluetooth speaker anytime. Really bright projector, with fair contrast, good image color in general but it has an intense red color but you can adjust it in user's color settings. Since this is an Android projector it can handle my air mouse remote for convenient operation.

Native resolution is 1280 x 800 (720p). Customs tax is stated above.

Hindi bro, depende yata sa declared value ng item mo. kc noong bumili ako dati ng Android box dahil hindi pa cya locally available noon, nailagay yung totoong value ng item is ang laki ng binayaran kong tax, kc electronics daw.

Minsan din yata nanghuhula lang yung nsa customs.

so tanong lang coz im a newbie on projectors. mas ok pa ba quality of these chinese projectors compared to entry level models of branded ones (like epson, acer, benq etc.). salamat po.

Wala akong branded projector, so I can't comment on it. But I have four unknown brand projectors. CREx205, LED86, Unic UC50, and Nierbo MAX500. Base on my personal experienced with projectors, I prefer more with DLP than of LCD projectors. My latest MAX500 dlp portable 3D projector is the brightest, and more accurate colors, comparable to led tvs but onlly has 720p native resolution.

If you more interested with 1080p led projector, you might google this brand " Xgimi H1", although made in China but it has great specs. You can see several videos on Youtube comparing branded like Benq, Epson and it looks like Xgimi H1 a promising one.

Kung masyado kang pihikan sa picture quality contrast maybe an issue with all front projectors. You can't compare it with the contrast in any flat tv's. Even branded entry level projectors, suffering from black or dark scene which may turns into dark gray only. The remedy of those issues are... 1). Treat or paint your room with dark colors. 2). Control your room lightings. 3). Do not use white screen, you can use a projector screen with good contrast.

The quality of these projectors are really okay. Just don't get the really cheap ones. If you want HD with enough brightness then you have to pay for it.

Currently I am using CRE X2500 720p 3,800 lumens hybrid laser/LED projector for maybe 3 years now and never failed me. Except for a hairline that appeared at the bottom which appears only on certain scenes.

Have also used before Xming M1 720p 700 lumens ALPD laser projector.

The X2500 is brighter by maybe 10% while the M1 has much better colors.
Am still looking for a comparison picture I took before an officemate bought my M1.

Xming has a new model S1 which is 980 lumens which could equal or better the X2500. Plus it's very handy.
