@Karaski
have you tried using another HDMI cable or tried exchanging the ends of cable? I ran to some issues before like that panay static and nag on and off ang display. I tried cleaning out the actual hdmi ports ng tv ko with q-tip and alcohol or contact cleaner..  minsan kasi may oxidation yung conductor part ng hdmi ports.
Yes sir. Ginamitan ko ng ibang cables pero wa-epek. Yun lang talaga naka resolve, unplug ko TV then yung box. Inuna ko i-turn on TV then yung box.
Same issues din sa akin pag naka On yung deep color.. may times na parang nag blink yung display.. para kang pumikit saglit.. only happened when deep color is On..

I went to Globe business center. They're selling this for 3800. 7 days replacement.

Wala ba talagang warranty ang Mi Box?

The 7-day replacement is outright replacement with Globe. Beyond  that period I think there are repair centers where they will honor warranty.

About the deep color setting: I have 4 of these boxes and never encountered anything with clicking sounds with the TV so far.

What I did was to use new HDMI cables with the boxes  from day one. The supplied HDMI cable was too short for me.

yup, 7 days is the outright replacement.  But warranty is 1 year.
There's a warranty card included in the box saying that Intogadgets is their service center for our Mi Boxes.

I use an assortment of HDMI cables for my system: Audioquest, Monster and MediaBridge, the last one being inexpensive but does the job.

Yes, the supplied cable is 4k-capable.

Same here. Di ko na din inalis sa packaging yung provided nilang HDMI knowing na maikli talaga s'ya. Yung reliable HDMI 2.0 na agad gamit ko.

Tried the deep color mode again. After I turned it on, namatay screen and I was forced to unplug. But good enough, wala nang mahihinang click sound. Since 12am ko pa pini-play, wala pa naman. Weird.

@Karaski, I'm curious about your deep color issues because I never experienced it. Not even that clicking sound.

Have you tried a factory reset of your device? It may resolve your concern, but it is only my suggestion. It's up to you if you want to try it. But if you decide to try a factory reset, you'd have to put back your settings and reinstall the apps you added previously.

Still no 4K for me with Netflix. I suspect that my AV receiver is the culprit. Will try connecting directly to the TV.

DRM info shows po as 1.X  speed test shows po as 19.19mbps download and 19mbps din sa upload po with the mi box. any idea what im missing. TIA!!!

Same with mine but when I did a factory reset lumabas lahat. Can't guarantee it though that it will work with yours. I did a reset because my remote won't work and after resetting it still won't work. Buti na lang me remote app.

Thanks for the immediate response. I already performed a factory reset under via settings. and have the same issue. What I did po kasi is when I first received my mi box I updated it the latest version po muna. Then I made a factory reset just to make sure na clean slate sya. I checked back the update version and it is already set to July 1 2017 so Im sure that I have the latest version. After updating the mi box and restored it to factory settings I tried netflix under the recommended apps and it asked me to install it. after installation I was able to log-in and watch a couple of tv series. I then tried to use the voice search function under the main menu of mi box and no netflix results shows up. and now from time to time I'm experiencing the 25% loading bug in netflix. some says that they resolved the search function issue by side loading netflix whereas when I tried to search netflix under playstore it shows that it is already installed. any idea where can I get and side load netflix to see it it will help in resolving the search function issue Im having?  BTW sir Coastal can you check and validate if netflix is listed under the search application in the settings menu? TIA!!!!

Sir @jnazareta, there's already a prior discussion of Netflix search using voice within this thread, please take a little backreading as it might help with your issues on this matter. Voice search for Netflix works well with the Mi Box 3.

http://www.pinoydvd.com/index.php/topic,211149.msg2522652/topicseen.html#msg2522652

Now, for the 25% issue, I have 4 Mi boxes installed in 4 rooms using the same wifi connection but only 1 exhibited this behavior. I resolved it by simply updating the Netflix app. The 25% issue disappeared. Just to be sure, I have kept the Netflix app updated in the other 3 boxes. No more problems.

2 things that cause a 25% loading for me.  One is when I switch on a smart dns. And the other is  when I open a lot of other apps..  I just use a memory cleaner  app which most of the time works.

I also noticed that I'm getting the 25% loading issue with netflix.
I'm using getflix and using australian servers as advised by their support team.
Because of that i'm intermittenly getting that 25% loading issue.  I ran a speedtest on my computer and everything was fine. But then when I tried to run a speedtest using Fast.com(from netflix) i was like getting 5-10mbps result from my 50mbps connection. I tried almost every getflix DNS server available and my speed results was only from 5 to 12mbps.

I went back to those getflix DNS servers closest to me like HK and SG. Now it was hitting 24-30mbps.
So far the 25% loading issue seem to have gone away.
Btw, when I tried disabling netflix under regions in the dashboard I was hitting my subscribe speed at 50mbps.
I spent the summer wasting

@Sir traveler69, Appreciate the response and I did saw that post. I tried to search for OKJA by saying "OKJA in Netflix" but it did not show the result for netflix but rather show a result for youtube and google alone. I'm pretty sure that OKJA is available in NETFLIX. My Netflix is app is at current version. will try to tinker more on this to see If I miss something. Thanks for the input.

@Sir jambam, I'm not using any VPN nor any smart DNS. I checked my routers DNS and it has nothing in the preferred DNS section. I will definitely give that Memory Cleaner a try. Any recommended app?  TIA!!!

Try a simplified voice search. Instead of "Okja in Netflix," simply say "Okja." Just one word.

Last night I wanted to see Ozark in Netflix. I said "Ozark" and it showed me the result right away. One click later, the first episode launches.

So this answers my question, which was if I could install iFlix. Haha.

Very tempted about this. I've stopped using a WD media player which I got many many years ago, because it couldn't play some files.

Questions:

1. Is it supposed to be installed to HDMI port in AV receiver? or on a TV? or either?
2. Is this only for video - can it play music files (flac) for example?
3. The main advantage over a chromecast (which I already have) would be its ability to play files stored in hard disk?
