Sakin hindi. Yun mga 2-3 hours movie plays continuously. Kung mag stop due to buffering or network hiccups

I had some freezing problems while watching a movie file. It turned out that the file itself had errors. I redownloaded the same file and freezing problem was fixed.

2 to 4 hours of playback - no problems. Using MX Player Pro.

I'm confirming @flashdB's experience when it comes to buffering and network hiccups.

Mine had issues with netflix after i installed kodi.. after reset ok na ulet.. sana lang may available na remote with keypad.. hirap mag-type

download the "Android TV" remote. you can switch between remote (virtual version of your physical remote) and keyboard. free btw

Multi channel soundtrack from external usb drive playback through av receiver loses sync with video.

Just like to share. Was having problems with video sync and multichannel sounds. Fiddled with a lot of settings but cannot solve problem. Then i realized i had been using the hdmi cable of my old media player with my new mibox since the other end was still connected to my receiver. Changed the cable with the one from the mibox and no more sync problems. Hope this helps.

Less than 3 months later and it's time to change batteries again. Tinalo pa yung tv, aircon, cable box, AV receiver, etc, na once every 2 years ang palit.

Maybe because its bluetooth? Ako i use rechargable batteries. Once palang ako nag charge but my mi box is fairly new.

just open playstore on your browser and look for chrome. when you click install it will let you choose which device. just look for mibox in the drop down selection.
btw,you also need to install sideload launcher from playstore so that you can access chrome from homescreen.

i have not changed my batteries since I bought mine last May. it is currently at 20%

That means your app is decoding and sending it out of the box as PCM audio. What app are you using to play media?

use kodi or mx player brader. yan lang gamit ko before same problem din tayo.

How do you passthrough sa MX player, so that my receiver will handle the decoding po? same goes with kodi po sana.. Thanks in advance po.

after i installed the latest version of MX player wala akong ibang ginawa i just play movies. nag passthrough na sya sa receiver ko.

Thanks sir Jerome_A. confirm ko lang po does it passthrough DTS HD-MA and TRUE HD? as I checked kasi sa kodi walang DTS HD-MA and TRUE HD option when connected directly lang sa TV. Currently my old WD TV live pa din ang connected sa new denon receiver ko po and Im unable to passthrough DTS HDMA. only the DTS core is seen on the receiver display. Will try to connect my Mi box this weekend to see if I can see the DTS HD-MA option under expert.

Just learned that you need to change the sertings to advanced or experts. To enable losless audio.

Hi, I have some questions regarding the Mibox

1. do you always leave the deep color mode on?

2. do you leave the HDR on even when playing SDR content?

3. do you change resolutions from 4K to 1080p when playing 1080p content?

Deep color and HDR if ON will not matter if your TV can't handle it. HDMI handshakes the capability of your TV with the Box if it can display it so it doesn't really matter.

Same goes with resolution. Just set it to the highest your TV supports.

my TV supports both deep color and HDR, just wondering when viewing SDR won't the HDR colorspace screw up the colors?

no problem with remux files sir philip. already tested it several times. problem lang iisa ang slot ng usb but hindi ko pa natatry having usb hub to multiply the usb slot.
