Topic: LG BD530 Automatically downscales to 480p

Hi, I've had this BDP for a while now. But recently it has been Downscaling by itself to 480p.

its connected to my tv via HDMI and replaced the cables already. FW upgrade didn't help at all.
What do you think is the problem?

All sources, DVD, BD and usb files all downscales...

how did you know it downscale to 480p? thru TV info?  try using the player to another TV.

or your BD player reso is set to AUTO. try selecting 1080p or 1080i

Resolution manually set at 1080p.

video stops and downscales.

also used component video at 720p. still the same results.

might retire this BDP.

Try mo kaya i-hard or factory reset.

Might be the bd display module is defective

pag hindi yan madala sa factory reset my problema nga talaga siguro yang player mo sir.
