Speaker Wire extension male to female RCa

Is it okay to connect speaker through RCA? This way it will be easy to connect and disconnect when speaker will be used at any part of the house.

For small speakers it is OK.

For bigger ones, it is better to use Binding Post.

How about for 80w 6 ohms speakers... Distance extension will be 6 meters

You can do a direct speaker connection and cover it with shrink wrap or electrical tape.

This I think is better for higher powered speaker.  RCA is usually for small surround or computer speakers  :)
