That gap got wider with the CELTS probably losing GH for the season ......... I like the CELTS young guns, but it takes solid vets to win in the playoffs and Finals.

Brad Stevens described Hayward's injury as a dislocated ankle AND fractured tibia.

Further tests will be performed on him in Boston.

It could well be two bones broken instead of one, if it's above the ankle.

Nakakapanghina 'yung nangyari kay Hayward. Sana maka-recover sya agad, I hope when he comes back mas lalo pa syang gumaling maglaro kagaya ni PG13 after din maka-recover sa injury nya.

Looks like career ending ankle injury for Hayward.
Sayang tlga as i expect him to bloom and lead the young Celtics to a championship in 5 years.
Dont know yet if his ankle will be like that of Grant Hill after surgery but for sure if ever he comes back he'll simply just be a role player.

Not so satisfied with the GSW vs HOU shoot out game.
I expect both teams to hit 150 pts but they only finished with 120 pts each.

I'd like to think that sports science is now much much better since Grant Hill's days (and he did say that his poor decisions at the time exacerbated the injury). The commentators mentioned that the medical team was able to re-seat the bone prior to moving Hayward to the locker room, so that's a good sign.

I hope he can make a full recovery.

Jeremy Lin done for the season with a ruptured tendon in his knee. if ever he comes back he will be a step slower than before. Crucial for his position (PG).

Patella tendon ruptures are infrequent, particularly those that have a complete tear. Considering that Lin still walked (mostly) by himself to the locker room, this doesn't look to be the case.

This used to be a career-changing injury back in the day, particularly in the Philippines (Samboy Lim and Chris Calaguio are examples). These days though, thanks to stem cell treatment and bioengineering, a full recovery is actually possible.

For those with NBA League Pass on desktops/laptops - I get error messages when I try to watch using Safari and Firefox ("Video cannot be played on this device") but I can run it on Google Chrome. Bakit kaya? I checked the NBA League Pass Support page/FAQs and made sure that the privacy settings are correct. No problems watching on an iPad.

The OKC Big 3 will be more dangerous once they start playing with more chemistry. Mas nagiging efficient pa si Westbrook as a facilitator and not as the first option on offense. Ilang rebounds na lang, triple double na.
