I have no idea about the current market price, and i would like to seek your input if 30k for both speaker is a good buy. Both are series 1 but in pristine condition.
TIA

I will be using them mainly for HT. or is the speaker too old already and i should invest instead for a newer set (not necessarily b&w)

Cheers

Have you heard it already? If not, I suggest you do. Brand new series 2 would set you back around 44k. What amp will you be using? Do you already have a sub? If only for movies, I think you're better off with Elac Debut or Wharfedale 220s; they have stronger bass and you probably won't notice details in the highs . If you have a nice amp and will be using for music, then it might be worth it.

That's my old system. Sold it for 20k I think, but series 2. They go deep in a small room. Good for stereo applications as well.
