Hi all,

May I crowd source suggestions for a digital audio set-up for a small office room? Kung kaya in the 20K ang below range, with both wired and wireless options because our internet is slow. Source of music will be phone or DAP like a Fiio or laptop (source excluded from 20K budget).

I was thinking along the lines of a small-ish speaker like Q Acoustics +small amplifier+DAC? I'm stumped sa amplifier part. Or maybe powered speakers? will this mean I don't need an amp, just a DAC?

The Audioengine A5+ is right smack in your budget. No need for an amp. It's a step up from the A2+ and it's bigger so you have to check your space.

@flashDB thanks for the link.
@uvax, thanks for the suggestion.

The audioengine A2 may turn out cheaper in that i won't need an amp.

Is this home or work office? I think one should consider "remote control" e.g. volume or power, unless abot kamay lang yung setup to adjust volume when needed.

Used entry level avr with network and BT function 10-15k.
Studio acoustics ceiling speakers around 2k pair.

it's for the office. my room is small so medyo abot kamay. the remote will probably be needed in instances when speakers are borrowed for use in bigger conference room for example. will think about whether this is a must-have.

While I have my own room, I don't really want to disturb my neighbors/co-workers. I'm thinking of having headphones instead of speakers.

Any suggestions for small desktop amp/dac or portable amp/dac?

^ i have the aq dragonfly black and red. my wishlists are either chord mojo or ifi micro idsd black label

the aq black and red meets my musical needs while nasa office or on the go, connected either to my phone or laptop. btw, i do both wired and wireless listening with my noise cancelling mdr-1000x.

Maybe something like the Mission LX2 + SMSL AD18?

dynaudio XEO20 or kef LS50W or focal Easya + a smartphone with spotify premium.

XEO2 or kef A300W + a smartphone with spotify premium if you want it cheaper.

former could be an overkill setup for an office.
