any feedback about this model?

I was told to stay away from LG and Samsung..

Oppo 203 is nice, but twice the money.. ewan ko lang kung sulit talaga

like the Oppo, the UBP X800 can also play SACD

Sir Oppo 205 more suited for the level of your gears

I think Oppo 205 is overkill for what I want to achieve.

My HT is very pedestrian, Onkyo 737 Epson 4000 and Scansonic speakers, so nothing special.

I am researching XBox One S, I've read somewhere that it is good as any UHD player available, may option pang maka laro.. we have PS 3 pa, so a newer game console is a welcome addition... unless somebody tells me stay away from it.

I had both the Xbox One S and Panasonic ub900 a month ago and the ub900 is so much better when it comes to PQ. Nagiging pale looking yung One S. Also the HDR to SDR conversion of the ub900 is very good if you do not have HDR capable display. The dual Hdmi output of the ub900 is also very useful if you have non hdcp 2.2 complaint receiver. Out 1 to 4k hdr display and out 2 to receiver

thanks for the feedback.. the Panasonic is only $150 less than the Oppo 203 and twice as expensive as the Sony X800.

have you compared the 3? or any opinion on Oppo 203 vs Panasonic UB900 vs Sony X800?

I am not really a gamer, so if the picture quality in the XBox is compromised vs other good players, then it is out of my options.

Panasonic ub900 is definitely better than the Sony X800 sir...

somebody commented in the video linked that he had the Panasonic and the Sony and he thought Sony had better picture

decision, decision.

the Sony is currently on sale at Costco, I might grab one and see if I'd be happy with it, they have 90 day return policy

after flip flopping (annoying Virgo shopper trait), I decided to go ahead with XBox One S 1tb Forza Horizon 3 pkg, sale kasi sa Bestbuy.. I got a free Overwatch Game of the Year Edition.. also got $15 off on additional controller.. ok lang daw sabi ng anak ko, she picked the Overwatch game.

pantawid gutom. If I am not totally happy with the video performance, I might use some of my Amex rebate and get a Panasonic, which is on sale at Visions till Sept 28.

My wife gifted me the Epson HC4000, this is my present to myself 😊

Parang tempting yun ubp x1100 , pwede sa blutooth headphones. Sadly mas mahal pa sa oppo ang wala multichannel out para pwede sa mga jurassic processors.

Also sir dimfer, maganda resale price ng oppo unlike sa other brands. Para kasi g hi di naluluma oppo kahit cabinet housing hindi nag tarnish man lang.

Cant say better in terms of video, but for audio side the 105d is. yun nga lang its much more expensive at more than double the price.

The 203 plays already plays 4k media, 105d hindi pa.

Thanks Ricky for the idea, never pull the trigger on the 105d, keep dropping by at a store in HK when I'm there like thrice last year & once this year, wasnt able to bring home 1, mahal kasi at P77k during those times. indecisive you may call me

local retail store Visions.ca dropped their offer to me on the Panasonic UB900, from the sale price of Cdn $ 578 to Cdn $522 if I buy today or tomorrow, after that back to reg price of Cdn $700

^ hard decision to make. But for the same cost with oppo , id stick with the oppo. Mas specialized sila sa players kasi yun lang ginagawa nila halos. Ang ganda pa ng service just in case you'll need it.

At sunset buti nga you didnt get one since available na 205. Landed cost close to 100t bec pf shipping. Ang bigat nya sobra.

best price I can get Oppo 203 is Cdn $ 750. But as pointed out in the youtube video linked by Louie, Panasonic UB900 is ahead of the Oppo 203 in terms on picture quality.. but having said that, when it comes to fit, finish and overall build quality, panalo talaga ang Oppo

Bought the X800 from Amazon during the Black Friday sale. After setting it up and connecting to the network, it refuses to enter the Sony app store. Connected to universal media server and play 1080p but cannot play 2160p...
