Samsung MU7000 (US vs Phil)
« on: Oct 27, 2017 at 10:29 PM »
Hello guys. In the market for a new TV and was reading the reviews at rtings for the MU7000 and was disappointed for the lack of 24p support (This one just gets in my head lol).

http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/samsung/mu7000

...only to find out that this 'might' not be the same mu7000 TV that is being sold here.

The most obvious difference is the stand.

Is it correct to assume that MU8000 (US) = MU7000 (PH)?  MU8000 (PH) is the curved model.  Nakipagtalo pa ako sa salesman kanina sa SM. Lol.  :-[ :-[ :-[

The Philippine MU7000 most likely supports judder-free 24 Hz (except for the 49" size variant). Samsung's 240 "Motion Rate" implies a 120 Hz display, which should be able to display 24 Hz video at the right cadence.
