Topic: 4K UHD Non-Smart TV

I am looking for a non-smart UHD TV (if there is such a thing) as I do not need the Smart features anyway. I'll just hook up my Chromecast or MiBox and I'm good to go. The reason for this is so I can get a UHD TV cheaper (knock off a few thousand pesos) without the Smart features. Any help will do. Thanks!

i dont think there is still one pa, even before uhd 4k was made available s public consumers lahat ng TV na lumabas is SmartTV na. if screen lang habol mo, u can buy UHD monitor may mga tig 49" na size. pero check mo husto yung specs, hdmi version etc.

meron ako nakita from Sony recently but not 4K. yan din hanap ko - yun hindi smart na 4K

You're looking at the wrong places kasi. Dapat you should look for dumb TV. Hehe!

Most smart tv not so smart naman , frustrating to use on some instances, marunong pa sa may ari. Nakakainis. Sa akin kasi pag sinabi mo smart dapat smart talaga . Hahaha

There are also Smart TVs that make the user dumb sa sobrang complicated.

mukhang sa computer monitors na lang sir available yung 4k UHD na hindi smart, problem is pag 4k UHD ang monitor mas mahal pa sa smart TV kaya defeats the purpose of getting a lower cost unit ... what I would suggest is just to choose the smart tv that would be very usable - in my case, when I was looking for a replacement tv, I find the Sony Android TV's very intuitive, you can load the apps that you need (e.g. NBA app for league pass) as it is very flexible ... unlike LG and Samsung smart tv wherein you are limited to their apps, the Android TVs would allow you to reduce your gadgets, di na kailangan ng chromecast, built-in na

I have an LG Smart TV and I still use my Mi Box often.  I don't use the apps of my TV.

The Sony TV with Android OS is something to check out. Thanks!

Yun smart settings nya keeps changing depending on lighting. Nakakahilo .

Pero one thing is critical talaga, a good network service. Pag palpak internet provider walang silbi smart tv kahit 4k  pa sya mukhang pirated pjnapanood mo. Or may diperensya tv?

Magadjust nga yung stream quality normally depende sa performance ng connection (and ng server na din in some cases). Pag hindi consistent ang throughput, magbababa ng quality yan para hindi tumigil ang video.
