Super addicted to this TV..currently using it for 4k gaming and some movies.. Ganda talaga PQ 😍😍😍 ..  I am using nalang the technicolor setting na default then adjusted nalang the oled light..

That’s very nice to hear. Technicolor is a good setting as well.

Run the pixel refresher after intense rounds of gaming:)

Hello LG OLED Users - kamusta po yun image retention especially for those frequent viewers of Cignal channels? (since may Cignal logo). I am reading the article on rtings.com but I can't seem to figure out what is the bottomline of that test :) Thank you!

Thank you po! Are you on Cignal po? The problem is that Cignal logo is always there that's why I have some apprehensions :)

Hoping other LG OLED users would give their feedback/comments...I am having a difficult time justifying the price vs the potential problems since I don't replace TVs every 2 years...and this forum thread is giving me a lot of 2nd thoughts:

Bar none this TV along with the Sony OLED are the most beautiful models I’ve have had and have respectively. For me OLED is the new plasma with technological advancements in image quailty that fully utilises HDR and Dolby Vision.

The built-in Pixel refresher will take care of stuck images so don’t worry too much about it.

If this is the only thing preventing you from buying this TV then I would say, you do not have to worry. Image burn-in is very unlikely to happen in real world watching. Rtings run those tests to intentionally cause a burn-in. LG is very proactive in dealing with these issues, thus equipping the C7 with Pixel Orbiter (for static images) and Pixel Refresher which runs every 4 hours of continous watching. If you were a former plasma TV owner which is also prone to image burn-in, you will surely know how to handle an OLED TV. Warning though, watching this TV specially in a dark room in Dolby Vision and HDR is so addictive that you wouldn’t be satisfied with LED TVs anymore, even with local dimming techonology. Follow what your wallet and your heart tells you:-)

Thanks Buddy! The TV is really very good. Don’t let a few hicks keep you from a true wonder.

@Octaver11

Great advise esp the following the heart thing...I often do that and it gets me into a lot of trouble BUT i always end up happy...

Anyway...Thats the whole point of why we do, what we do, when we do:)
