@Carlo
One of the best reviews I've read so far. Sobrang galing ng narrative mo Sir, hindi boring basahin.

Thank you sir! I’ve had boring reviews in the past. The circumstances surrounding the activities with this TV have just been “out of the ordinary”

Why OLED isn’t for you:

Apart from the price here are some good reasons why you may want to avoid it...despite stellar reviews😉

1. Size : The smallest OLED stands at 55 inches and hey not everyone has the space for it. A lot of people are still looking for 40 inches and yes even smaller. 32 inches anyone? If you’re not into big TVs...This is one technology you can avoid.
2. Bright Room Viewing: The Blacks of this TV are perfect and so are the colours (Ok near perfect). But if you like watching in rooms with a lot of lights — You’re better of with LED technology. OLED is not the brightest TV in the pack and a lot of lights can blur out the details of the content you’re watching...The glossy screen does a good job at funnelling the reflections but OLED lacks the fiery brilliance of LED to truly shine in a very well lit environment.
3. Image Retention: Just like Plasma OLED is prone to I.Rs. And yes it has safe guard measures to prevent permanent burn-in but I will (because of the price) never make this my dedicated gaming  display.

Well there you go. Much praise deserves much caution as well. So think about these points before you commit to arguably one of the best TV technology to come in awhile😁

 Back from tagaytay? Very fast!

I’ll check my calibrated settings. Will you be using the TV in a dark room?
Hows it so far?

Hahaha yes exactly... Tapos coding pako sa Monday kaya late makakauwi.. Thank you for the settings.. Will try it pag uwi! Saw one din sa RTINGS pero di ko sure how to follow the settings for white balance and the other one.. And they have a disclaimer na settings are different daw per TV..

My Oh my!!!

My hon just said i get the E7! She’ll pay for the difference daw...instead of the C7 na 65...And all this just becuse walang stock yung interior detail spray kaya na padaan sa Sm appliances!!!

Tama na (confused). I really want to see this E7 before my GF plucks an additional 100k for something that could just be similar to the C7....

(Shaking like that of a guy fresh from withdrawal)

depends on your budget really, I would advise not to overspend as this is not a necessity ... I have the 55 SJ8500 and very satisfied with it, but if I my budget permitted, i would've bought the 55c7, but I would've sold one of my kidneys :)

It’s really hard to put a “bang for your buck” tag on TVs that are quite expensive. What is the “more” you want to “bang” your buck for? The choices you have presented  unfortunately do not favour the SJ8590. I’ve seen it and blacks are  just as good as an entry level Sammy MU6103 (and that TV is pretty darn cheap).  So, i feel that you  actually pay more for the SJ 8500 because you get near entry level image quality for mid range to upper mid range price. The OLED on the other hand may not be  “bang buck” for obvious reasons but you can be assured that as of today (not Tomorrow) it’s the most beautiful TV (IQ wise) out there. And if you have the budget I think going for superiority is a better way “bang” wise.  The Sony X90e is the closest rival to the C7 and can match the OLED in a bright room environment because of it’s high peek brightness...for me, that would be the better alternative.

i think the closest rival of C7 is the samsung's Q8 not sony's X900E in my opinion..

Try mo si vic, although other sellers tinatapatan nila lowest market price, iba pa din si sns. Yun service nya walang kapares. Tried it sa 3yr old 80" tv ng client ko, isang tawag lang kay vic sya na nag asikaso na mapuntahan ng sharp yun tv.

Super addicted to this TV..currently using it for 4k gaming and some movies.. Ganda talaga PQ 😍😍😍 ..  I am using nalang the technicolor setting na default then adjusted nalang the oled light..
