sent the BOM for quotation for PCB assembly of the SMT parts,sana affordable kahit min qty lang para hindi na tayo mahirapang maghinang nung mga SMT.

ano pala yung 2 maliit na daughter board na nakakabit ng vertical?

Sir rochie, those are Hypex HXR voltage regulators, drop in replacements for the LM7812/7912 voltage regulators. Supposed to be better but much much $$$ expensive.

sorry, di pa pala ako nakakagawa ng BOM sa mouser but what Ive sent to my friend is the downloadable bom from diyaudio so that he can count and check what package are used for the components. btw min order qty pala ng mga components is 250pc if we want the pcb assembly pero it cheaper kasi bulk baka if we can fill the 9 pcs and then 4.5K pesos for mouser bom baka kayanin na for pcb assembly and then may extra components pa tayo for future use.

BTW yung BOM galing sa www.diyaudio.com ay naka Excel at dalawang sheet. Yung isa ay "Original BOM" (BOM prepared by Hans Polak) and "Latest 15-02-2016" which is 'better and improved' based on results of earlier builds. I suggest that we use the "Latest"

Esep ko kasi wala pa ako maikabit na source dito since mga CDP, TT at DAC ko ay puro RCA outs lang. Pero try ko revive ICE amps ko using this.

ako halos kokonti langdin naman yung mga binuo ko na talagang nagagamit ko hehehehe, yung iba is for the sake na meron ka lang talaga mabutingting on your free time or gusto matutunan. halos yung ibang diy amp na nabuo ko na at natesting ko na gumana wala pa ding mga case/chassis haha kaya andun nasa kahon lang din hehehe, kumbaga it's the journey not the destination

Hi Sirs, just to remove any confusion, let's simplify the list.

Kindly indicate if its with or without assembled SMTs
My feeling is that we all would like to have those tiny tiny SMTs assembled for us

We will adopt the same BOM in our GB unless you have other suggestions.

Of course, we will not use Hypex regulators for u4/U5 but will use LM7812/LM7912 (TO-220) unless we decide otherwise

Regarding the last column "Quick Circuit Supply & Assemble" in the diyaudio BOM. "Yes" means that the SMTs are pre-assembled by their PCB maker (Quick Circuit), while "No" means that through hole components are not pre-assembled.

For our GB, we have already decided that all SMTs are pre-assembled ("Yes" in the last column of BOM). We will just wait for the cost estimate c/o rochie.

Now, we should also decide whether all through hole components ("No" in the last column of BOM) should be pre-assembled as well. We will also wait for the cost estimate c/o rochie.

Would it imply kanya kanya tayong mag source out ng through hole components or GB pa din ng through hole parts pero kanaya kanya lang ang through hole parts assembly?

yes to this, i think will be best that we get these boards as they will cost cheaper than with smt's and turn around will be faster too...

i was about to ask someone from the other forum to redesign the board for thru hole...
