Topic: Upgrading to Android Player from Egreat S800/WDTV

Hi.

As the topic reads, i currently have 2 media players: the Egreat S800 and the WDTV. I now wanna try Droid boxes and went around GH and was offered 3. Himedia H8 plus for 7500php, tx3 pro for 2990php and neo u9 for 7800php. The neo and the h8 comes with 1 year warranty while the tx3 pro shorter.

My current setup utilizes also a Probox housing 4pcs of 4tb HDDs. The Probox is attached to the media player. Another portable HDD is likewise attached to the same player. On the other hand, the media player is connected to my Yammy AVR.

1. Which among the 3 would you recommend?
2. Given the same budget range, would you recommend another player instead?
3. What would I get from upgrading to these Droid boxes compared to the players that I have now.
4. Which Droid boxes would be able to accomodate my Probox and could play full BD menu like my S800?

Being able to get a Droid box which can upscale, play hvec and 3d and 4k, would be a big plus for future proofing.

I dont use Spotify, Netflix and such apps.

Sorry if some questions are confusing since its been awhile and I've been out of the media player loop.

2. Check Zidoo X9s, there's a seller in MarketPlace at 6,700 or Lazada
3. You can install Android Apps such as Kodi / SPMC
4. Only the Zidoo X9s could play Bluray Menus from the Android Boxes that I know of

if you will be using kodi, try any of their sponsors - nvidia, wetek, minix, etc. para sureball na maganda/meron support

i have not consider other areas like other ports fo connectivity, etc... only the player part + the storage you have.

im using wetek hub.PQ and SQ is superb.very small form factor about 2 in x 2 in only plus ehome the seller i think has an ongoing promo to install libreelec for free.hub is 5.5k only.

i often wonder san kukuha ng 4k uhd test material with menu, then they showed me a couple , gumana nga. i almost pulled the trigger when they said they will clone all their disks , yun pala sablay yung unitek disk cloning sa 4tb and above

the zidoo is really priced low , thanks to its realtek chipset, naalala ko tuloy ang old egreat r6s/r6b
